Healthy Body Practice

A practice for caring for and integrating the body based on principles and techniques that include breathing exercises, mobility, perception, body awareness, motor coordination, alignment, flexibility and strengthening. The work aims to generate a sense of well-being by building a balanced tone. To do this, the Pilates technique, yoga, dance principles, somatic approaches and the study of the fasciae are used as a basis.

The class lasts one hour and can be taken online or in person at Condô Cultural.

Isis MarksIsis, a dance artist and creator of the project, worked as a Pilates instructor in a studio for six years and, since 2020, has been teaching as a freelance educator, incorporating a hybrid approach to her practices, which integrates other influences that make up her professional path, such as dance, yoga, and the study of the body in different aspects related to the health of the body and movement. In 2023, Isis was on maternity leave and had the collaboration of professionals Paula D'Ajello and Naíra Gascon and the meeting of the three was so fertile that the project expanded. Thus, in 2024 it became possible to offer different class schedules.

About the dynamics of each class

RESTORATIVE PRACTICE

A class to connect with your own body and restore energy through movement, based on different breathing techniques, joint mobility, stretching and body awareness.

INTERMEDIATE PRACTICE

A class for recognizing the foundations that permeate the work and the constant development of its improvement through repetition, constancy and contact with new challenges.

INTENSE PRACTICE

A very dynamic class, ideal for those who have accumulated some experience of body and movement and are looking to improve their technique through constancy, repetition and new challenges.

MULTILEVEL PRACTICE

Face-to-face classes are open to everyone who is interested in getting to know the work, as well as delving deeper into it, so that the content and challenges progress according to the needs of each individual and the group. Unlike online classes, face-to-face classes allow for musical stimulation, experimentation with the movement of the body in space, and also the precision of corrections through touch.

Conscious Investing

The conscious investment policy makes it possible for the project to invest in complementary studies and to open up places with partial and full scholarships for economically disadvantaged people. From the three suggested amounts, you choose which one suits your reality, based on an analysis of your income, economic condition and social class. If you are interested in applying for a full or partial scholarship, please indicate this at the end of the questionnaire.

Minimum value: necessary for the teacher's salary and basic expenses, such as renting the space, internet and Zoom's monthly fee.

Ideal value: contributes to the teacher's salary, basic expenses for classes and investment in studies and further training.

Collaborative value: In addition to covering basic expenses and additional investments, this option also helps with the policy of full and partial scholarships for those who cannot afford to pay for lessons. The suggested amount is the minimum required for this option, but it can also vary upwards.

ObsAny changes to the chosen price must be notified one month in advance.

Experimental class

The trial class makes it possible for us to exchange and recognize some of the principles that guide the practice, which will help you to follow the dynamics and decide whether to stay in the class. You can choose to take an individual or group trial class, either online or in person.

The trial group lesson costs 60 reais and the individual lesson 100 reais, but if you are interested in a monthly or quarterly plan, this amount will be deducted from the first monthly fee.
