We open our doors to celebrate and dance in the rain! A mixture of sculptures, prints, paintings, theater, music, dance, posters, plants, food, memories and a little bit more... this is Condô Cultural and the people who bring it to life. Open House.

In times of intense climate change, we want to share with the public a little of our works that wet the thirsty earth. 

During this Toró, nine of Condô's fifteen studios will be open to visitors, as well as the common spaces and the vast backyard. The program will include a Visual Arts Exhibition, Workshops, Activities for Children, Theatre, Music, Film Screenings, as well as the Condô Shop, Indigenous Art Point, Composting, Caipira Coffee and other activities.

Caipira coffee

To be enjoyed without haste, a day to meet and mingle with different people and take the opportunity to follow our program.

 

 

9am to 7pm 

Indigenous Art Point

Sales of the creations of indigenous artists, craftspeople and artisans from different ethnic groups in Brazil in the city of São Paulo. Inaugurated in 2021. We currently have art from the Guarani Mbyá, Kariri-Xocó, Fulni-ô, Xukuru Kariri, Huni Kuin, Paiter Surui, Kalapalo and Aikanã ethnic groups.

Condô Shop

Pieces by artists from the Casa and the association. A great option for end-of-year presents.

Visual Arts Exhibition

The house artists will occupy various spaces in the Condô in different formats.

Open Workshops

There will be 09 workshops open to visitors. Come and discover the infinite universes of Beatriz Nogueira, Cleiri Cardoso, Cris Panariello, Eneida Sanches, Gabriela Sacchetto, Itamar Dutra, Lissa Sakajiri, Luiza Freire, Maíra Bühler, Nadira Yanez and Ulli Nalin.

 

 

11am to 2pm 

Community composting

Bring your organic waste and take home a seedling! Separate your organic waste at home, put it in a bucket or pot with a lid, and bring it to the compost on Sundays between 11am and 2pm.

Sweet and savory Community composting

Homemade food partnership with women from Vila Anglo Brasileira

Tai Chi Experience (TaiChiPaiLin)

with Tânia Murakami 

An ancient, slow and circular practice with Tânia Murakami, who has been practicing TaiChiPaiLin since 1999 but awoke to the practice of Tai Chi in 1989. Also a musician, she has TaiChi as a fundamental practice for her studies and creativity.

Audience: from 10 years old

Cuca's egg

Mask and puppet show on the theme of freedom with the groups Rainhas do Radiador and Desembargadores do Furgão

Duration: 40 minutes

Practical experience of a healthy body

with Isis Marks 

Come and discover a body and movement practice based on Pilates and Yoga techniques, dance principles, somatic approaches and the study of fasciae and anatomical pathways. To care for and integrate the body with breathing, perception, body awareness, motor coordination, alignment, flexibility and strengthening exercises. 

Audience: Free from 16 years old

Lost world: small archaeological site

Grammars of Nature invites Coletivo Oquecabeaqui? 

Activation of the "Lost world: small archaeological site" toy. The idea is for the children to find land that they consider to be a site to be explored and, using the tools of an archaeologist, carry out excavations to find artifacts. The idea is also to immerse them in the world of imagination, which is typical of children, in order to cultivate stories and memories.

1pm to 2pm 

What melts?

with Rita Cavassana

Play-intervention with ice in the shape of colored letters. Let's create words to melt. What dissolves, or what is melting? What words will we want to melt, or letters that will die out as the heat rises higher and higher? How long will it take to see the words and letters melt?

Audience: children aged 5 and over 

 

 

2pm to 4pm

Garden of Delights drawing and observation workshop

with Gabriela Sacchetto

In this workshop, participants will be invited to experiment with drawing exercises based on observation and contemplation in the Garden of Delights. You don't need to know how to draw to take part. This workshop is an invitation to observe and experiment!

Audience: 15 and over.

The time we have left

Free Improvisation - Instrumental Music 

Felipe Mancini and Iran Ribas invite two other musicians, Paulo Bira and Ivan Silva. The three musicians have never played together and will work together for 44 minutes in a room creating music without previously agreed themes, combining acoustic and electronic music. They will be joined by a wind-up clock that will tick for 44 minutes until it wakes up. The beat of the clock is another element used to create ideas. A beat to be manipulated and used in a musical way. 44 minutes according to numerology;

44 represents a person who is fully aware that everything they think can come true. They know that their thoughts have power and because of this, more than anyone else, they need to pay close attention to what they think.

It will be a time for collective reflection by the musicians and the audience on the meaning of what we usually think about

Tell her you saw me cry

A film by Maíra Bühler followed by a discussion with people from Casa Rodante, a street art and harm reduction project.

Audience: General, but with a special invitation for mental health staff.
