in 2013 she left her life as a graphic designer in paulistana and set out to live in zen buddhist communities in the united states and also to travel there, through mexico and central america. during this period she lived for four years at the zen center in san francisco, two years at the city center in the city, and two years at the tassajara monastery. in 2020 she stayed in brazil because of the pandemic and has been looking for ways to build bridges between zen and art, inside and outside the monastery and her life in the united states and brazil.
