Sun or rain

Since April 2017, we have opened our backyard with a delicious breakfast at Jardim das Delícias.

No rush

Café Caipira is meant to be enjoyed leisurely. A day to meet up with friends, relax and socialize with different people. You can wander around the house, visit the current exhibition, get to know the project and enjoy the garden.

We open at 9 a.m. and close at 2 p.m. (the kitchen closes at 1:30).

The food

They are all made at home with a lot of love by @salehidden

The recipes are those special ones, from grandma, that different people have shared and we've experimented with and transformed.

The breads and pastas are naturally leavened and made with organic flour.

The cheese bread is from Minas Gerais, with half-cured cheese.

Carrot cake from Mom's recipe with chocolate icing. Cornmeal cake with guava, that delicious cake to drink with a cup of coffee.

Jelly with seasonal fruit and often from our incredible blackberry tree. Anyone who has been here knows how huge and juicy they are 🙂

The tea is also freshly picked from our garden.

And every month there are new additions to the menu, depending on the production of Jardim das Delícias and the seasonal ingredients.

Our House

The place where the Café takes place is the headquarters of Condô Cultural. Far from being a restaurant or bakery, it's a house: a warm and welcoming place full of mysteries and special corners.

We don't offer service. You arrive, choose what you want to eat at the counter, pay, choose your corner in the garden or inside the house and wait for your name to be called to collect your coffee. After eating, you return the dishes to the counter and can continue enjoying the garden and our space.

Program

In partnership with different artists, we eventually have musical programs, workshops for children and adults and exhibitions. When we have a musical program, we suggest a free contribution, where everyone decides how much they can contribute. The money raised goes directly to the artists and technical team.

Vila Anglo Brasileira

The neighborhood is residential and has a rural feel. We invite you to walk around and enjoy its cobbled streets, alleys and stairways. We are 1 km from the Vila Madalena metro station. Come by bike, apps... take the opportunity to leave your car in the garage that day.
