Marcia Cymbalista was born in S\u00e3o Paulo in 1972. She holds a master's degree in Visual Arts from ECA-USP and in Free Graphic Arts from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. She completed a bachelor's degree in Art Education at UNICAMP. She took part in the Routes of Drawing study group at ECA-USP.
\nShe teaches drawing and painting. She has worked in universities, schools and free courses at various institutions, such as Santa Marcelina College, ECA-USP extension courses, SESC workshops, among others.
\nAs an artist, she works in drawing, engraving and painting on the poetics of time and space. She was part of the women's artists' group Goma and the Jatob\u00e1 Association.
\nAt Cond\u00f4, together with Gabriela Sacchetto, she taught drawing classes in the garden of delights and live modeling. She also took part in the \u201cFifth Question\u201d series of talks.<\/p>\n
