André Degenszajn is the CEO of the Ibirapitanga Institute. He was Secretary General of GIFE - Group of Institutes, Foundations and Enterprises between 2013 and 2017. He holds a master's degree in international relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and was a professor of international relations at Faculdade Santa Marcelina between 2007 and 2011. He was one of the founders and currently sits on the Board of Directors of Conectas Human Rights and is a member of the Board of Oxfam Brazil.
