She is a nutritionist with a master's degree in agroecosystems, a doctorate in political sociology and a post-doctorate in public health. She is currently a professor at the Federal University of Espírito Santo doing research into the sociology of food, health and the environment. She is the author of the book Organic Food and the podcast Panela de Impressão.
