In this episode we talk to an incredible chef and cook, Roberta Sudbrack, about less is more! We'll also hear music from Bixiga 70, Barbatuques and Cumbia Calavera, all artists from the neighborhood!
Roberta Sudbrack is a chef and owner of several restaurants, and her training is completely self-taught. The sense of Brazilianness in her recipes reveals an authorial and creative work. For seven years, she headed up the kitchen at the Alvorada Palace, the official residence of the President of the Republic, under President Fernando Henrique Cardoso. She was the first female chef in the Palace's almost fifty-year history. In 2015 she was voted the best female chef in Latin America.
