Roberta Carvalho is a visual artist born in Belém do Pará. She studied visual arts at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). She works with images, urban intervention and video art. She has participated in several group and solo exhibitions in Brazil, France, Spain and Martinique.

She has won several awards, including the FUNARTE Women in the Visual Arts Award (2014), the Diário Contemporâneo Award (2011) and the FUNARTE Legal Amazon Microprojects Award (2010). She was awarded a research and artistic creation scholarship from the Pará Arts Institute twice, in 2006 and 2015.

His works are part of collections such as the Museum of Contemporary Art Casa das 11 Janelas (PA) and the Museum of the Federal University of Pará.

Among the group exhibitions and art festivals in which he has participated, the following stand out: Periscópio - zipper Galeria (São Paulo, 2016), 7th Mostra SP de Fotografia (São Paulo, 2016), Visualismo - Arte, Tecnologia, Cidade (Rio de Janeiro, 2015), SP ARTE/FOTO (2014), Grande Área Funarte (São Paulo 2014), Pigments (Martinique, 2013), Festival Paraty em Foco (Paraty, 2012), Tierra Prometida (Barcelona, 2012), and Vivo Art.Mov (Belém, 2011).
