Today's episode features guests Marcelo Belfort and Francisco Valdean, residents of the Maré neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro.
Marcelo is a historian, teacher and currently principal of the João Borges de Moraes State School in Maré. He is a participant in the region's historical struggle. He was, among other things, one of the creators of the Cursinho Pré Vestibular, the CPV, responsible for getting more than a thousand young people into universities.
Valdean, a photographer, is one of those young people who attended CPV. He is a public school teacher, has a master's degree in Social Sciences and is studying for a doctorate in Arts, and is the creator of the Itinerant Image Museum of Maré, MIIM.
