10/10/2020

This week's guests are the band Masoko. Conceived by musician and composer Adonai de Assis and singer Amabile Inaê, the São Paulo band Masoko, formed in 2018, researches musical aesthetic possibilities based on Afro-Brazilian regional rhythms such as chula, baião, samba, maracatu and national and international genres consolidated in the cultural industry such as soul, funk, jazz and pagode baiano. In 2019, with the collaboration of Eduardo Padovan (acoustic guitar/vocals), Rafael Pinho (bass) and Hércules Laino (percussion), the musical research became more mature and was recorded in the form of an album, with the same name as the band, which will be released online on June 13, 2020.
