Fulkaxó Ceramics Workshop
with Yndyan Fulkaxó
(Fulni-ô and Kariri-Xocó ethnic groups)
In the hands of the Yndyan people, clay carries stories and memories. Traditional Fulkaxó pottery is ancestral knowledge, passed down through generations, which has ensured the livelihood of many families and lives on as an expression of cultural resistance.
In this workshop, led by Yndyan Fulkaxó, an indigenous artisan from the Fulni-ô and Kariri-Xocó ethnic groups, you will have the opportunity to learn about the techniques and processes of working with clay, experiencing a form of making that unites art, tradition and territory.
