The workshop provides a space for participants to develop self-care through dance and to enjoy bodily well-being through meditation, stretching, somatic education and improvisation based on the language of contemporary dance.

Rita Cavassana
Artist, educator and psychoanalyst. She began her studies in the arts as a child and since then has dedicated herself to studying and experimenting with various artistic languages, understanding art as a territory of dialog with other fields such as education, psychoanalysis and social issues.
PhD student in Clinical Psychology at the Subjectivity Center, Master in Performing Arts (UFRN), Specialist in Art Education (USP), Bachelor in Communication in Body Arts at PUC-SP and Theater Technician at FASCS.
As an educator: she taught art initiation workshops at Fábrica de Cultura programs, at SESC São Paulo units, was an artist guiding the Vocational Program, an art educator at the Guarulhos culture secretariat, worked at APAES as an art educator in São Paulo state government programs, a workshop at Capitania das Artes in the city of Natal-RN, at SESC Pernambuco and a dance and theater games teacher at Pronatec at the São Caetano do Sul Arts Foundation.
In 2015, in a residency with the artist Vicente Martos at the cultural condominium, he created the Performance Laboratory for/with Children, which creates artistic experimentation and performances for and with children, in the repertoire: PenerAreia (2017), Caça Palavra (2018), Marecife: homenagem ao mar (2019).
She works in a private psychoanalytic clinic for all ages. And with art therapy for children and adolescents, based on the integration of various artistic languages.
It runs the Integrated Arts Workshop, which is an extension to think about clinical listening in a collective way with children and adolescents, aiming at artistic experimentation, socialization and the insertion of these age groups beyond the school environment, with special attention to the importance of building the social bond in these age groups.
