Fabular Body is an aesthetic and clinical exercise that shares studies and practices of making bodies and the possibilities of creative processes as disobedience. The purpose of this meeting is to activate dream listening in order to fabulate a body. We start from the concept of Speculative Fabulation (Donna Haraway), somatic education techniques and improvisation.

May 31st (Saturday), from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Who it's for: people aged 18 and over with a desire to move their bodies, no previous experience necessary.

Rita Cavassana is a performer, educator and psychoanalyst, interested in the hybridity between the arts of the body, the visual arts and the clinic. She is a PhD student in Clinical Psychology (PUC-SP), a Master in Performing Arts (UFRN), a specialist in Art Education (USP) and a graduate in Communication of the Arts of the Body (PUC-SP), with technical training in Theatre (FASCS).

She is an associate artist of Condô Cultural. She has participated in intensive training with the Trisha Brown Dance Company and the Risco da Dança residency (c.e.m, Lisbon), among other projects with dance and theater directors.
