Kelvin Koubik

Born in Porto Alegre, Kelvin Koubik (1989) is a visual artist who works mainly with large-scale murals. A contextual muralist, he seeks to understand the social and cultural dynamics of the characters and local contexts where he develops his works.

His work is spread across different cities and contexts, including, in addition to Brazil, countries such as Qatar, France and Greece. He often develops projects with advertising agencies, architectural firms and major brands.

Graduating from the Institute of Arts at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), his work occupies city walls and gables as well as art galleries. They are creations, murals, public or private, which dialog with the language of traditional painting and contemporary art, through a style of their own that is constantly being renewed.
