Beatriz Alves
Beatriz Alves is a specialist in the Klauss Vianna Technique (PUC-SP), an actress (Teatro Escola Macunaíma) and a psychologist (PUC-SP). She researches and works at the interface between art, education and health. In Chapada dos Veadeiros, she was part of the artistic residency Corpass Líqquidas, the study group with the performance Ninhos Da Terra and the children's education space Projeto Laila que Baila. In São Paulo, she was part of the group of therapists Cura quem Cura, taught dance workshops at CEU Jaguaré for children and offered the Movimentes online course. She is currently part of the dance collective Arroio, which holds open rehearsals and shows: “Mar Aberto” and “Um olho que anda um passo que olha”. She teaches theater at the Praça das Artes Cultural Center in Barueri and is a member of Condô Cultural, seeking to develop experiences about body movements based on the principles of Constantin Stanislavski, the Klauss Vianna Technique and Paulo Freire's pedagogy.
