Anderson Santos

Biologist and botanist, with more than 20 years dedicated to the study of Brazilian plants through scientific research.

For a decade, he worked at the Botanical Institute of São Paulo, where he developed various projects, including the design of the Botanical Garden museum.

As a science, biology and botany teacher, he has taught almost 20,000 students. He founded the School of Botany and has gone on more than 100 expeditions throughout Brazil, especially in the Atlantic Forest, the Cerrado and the Amazon. He is the presenter of the program Terra Brasil, available on Amazon Prime Video.

He currently works as an environmental communicator, promoting courses, training and researching the poetics of the plant world, especially Brazilian plants.
