memory inventors #10

season two

05/01/2021

In this episode we make a big ‘listening round’ with Karaí Mirim and Naju do Amor Divino Pataxó. Both are indigenous in the context of ancestral retrieval, they are part of the ‘Movimento Levante Indígena’ from the University of São Paulo (USP) and show us the urgency to keep alive the memories of their ancestors: the fight against the historical erasure imposed by the whites and the teachings to listen to each other and to open our colorful parachutes in search of a respectful coexistence in the earth.
