Improvised Body, with Beatriz Alves and Dres Aguilera

03.04

à 29.05

Thursday, 19:00 to 21:30

Format

In person

Beatriz Alves e Dres Aguilera are dance researchers who have come together to work on the relationship between the principles of the Klauss Vianna Technique, Dance Improvisation and Contact Improvisation, taking as their starting point the functioning, needs and history of each body.

These approaches are used to study composition in dance and as a movement repertoire. The work includes relaxation practices, the principles of Aikido (a martial art) and developing the perception of the body, which is always changing.

During the meetings, they study with the group the relationship of space; body power in different states and qualities; falls and rolls of different levels; and the training of some bases.
This is an invitation for anyone who wants to research their movements and connect with their improvised body.
